NEW YORK – PARIS – (September 22, 2025)– The French Co-President and the North American Co-President of the FRench American Museum Exchange (FRAME) jointly announced today that the organization has elected Caite S. Panzer as the next Executive Director for FRAME in North America, a network of 29 museums located in North America and France. She will assume her new role on October 1, 2025.

Panzer brings extensive experience in international culture leadership, development, and program management. Most recently, she served as Head of Business Operations at the Centre Culturel Irlandais in Paris, overseeing operations, financial management, and board governance for Ireland’s leading cultural center in Europe. She also held leadership positions with Villa Albertine and Albertine Foundation, the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in New York, and the World Monuments Fund, where she managed high-profile fundraising initiatives, strategic partnerships, donor engagement events, and programming.

Earlier in her career, she also spearheaded the Cultural Services of the French Embassy’s first multi-million-dollar endowment and led capital campaigns. She consulted on global cultivation events for the World Monuments Fund, taught courses on philanthropy and equity at Sciences Po’s renowned School of Public Affairs master’s program in Paris, and held positions with Scholastic, Oxford University Press, WordAppeal, HEC Paris, and the Paris-Panthéon-Assas University.

“The search committee interviewed several highly qualified applicants and unanimously concluded that Caite was the best choice for this role,” said William Beekman, North American Co-President of FRAME. “Her experience aligns with FRAME’s mission to promote dialogue and cultural exchange between museum professionals and other scholars in France, Canada, and the United States.”

“The North American Executive Director will work with the French Executive Director to ensure great communication between the member museums and to expand the reach of FRAME,” said Christelle Creff, French Co-President of FRAME. “Caite’s depth of experience in French-American cultural exchange, knowledge of French organizational culture, and proven background in fundraising made her the ideal profile to co-lead FRAME’s growth.”

“We are excited to welcome Caite to this role,” said Emilie Vanhaesebroucke, French Executive Director of FRAME. “Her exceptional blend of international experience building connections between institutions will help FRAME strengthen its transatlantic partnerships and inspire innovative collaborations among our member museums. Caite and I look forward to working together to expand opportunities for cultural dialogue, professional exchange, and public engagement.”

In her new role, Panzer will work with FRAME’s member museums and philanthropic partners to advance the organization’s strategic plan, spearhead new fundraising initiatives, strengthen communication of the network, and lead FRAME’s annual conference in North America.

“I have long admired FRAME’s commitment to promoting cultural exchange and am delighted to join the organization at this pivotal moment, as we seek to implement an ambitious strategic plan,” said Panzer. “I look forward to working with Co-Presidents William Beekman and Christelle Creff, French Executive Director Emilie Vanhaesebroucke, and esteemed Board members to advance FRAME’s mission to promote mutual understanding and strengthen cultural diplomacy between North America and France, a mission that has guided my career and to which I am deeply committed.”

Panzer holds a Master of Philosophy in European Literature and Culture from Cambridge University, where she was selected for a teaching exchange with the University of Paris, and a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature from Princeton University, where she also minored in European Cultural Studies, graduating summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She is fluent in English and French, proficient in Italian, and has extensive experience leading bi-cultural and transatlantic initiatives.
