Application Process
1. Email of Inquiry
Applicants are required to write an Email of Inquiry to FRAME’s Executive Directors, Marguerite d’Aprile Quigley for North America (mdquigley@framemuseums.org) and Émilie Vanhaesebroucke for France (e.vanhaesebroucke@framemuseums.org) about potential projects before applying. This correspondence should be no longer than 200 words (or 1100 marks, space included) and should include:
- The total cost of the project
- A brief summary of the proposed project
- The total amount requested from FRAME
- December 15 for the Spring grant cycle
- July 1 for the Fall grant cycle
- Such other date as the Board of Directors may set for a Special grant cycle
2. Grant Application Grant applications should be no longer than three pages and must include a detailed narrative proposal outlining the nature of the project, including:
- The project’s main goals
- How project aligns with FRAME’s mission
- The main activities to be carried out
- The names and titles of the key personnel overseeing the project and others personnel involved, including those outside the FRAME network
- A detailed project budget
- The total cost of the grant you request from FRAME
- An outline of all other funding sources for the project
- February 15 for the Spring grant cycle
- September 1 for the Fall grant cycle
- Such other date as the Board of Directors may set for a Special grant cycle
