FRAME is delighted to announce Jeanne Brun, Deputy Director and Director of Collections at the Musée national d’art moderne – Centre Georges Pompidou, as French keynote speaker for the FRAME annual conference in Denver, France, on October 30, 2025.
Graduate of the Ecole nationale des Chartes and the Institut national du patrimoine, Brun has headed a number of cultural establishments, observing and guiding their cultural and conservation policies, as well as their strategies for reaching out to the public: in local authorities, in Saint-Etienne, as Head of the Collections and Exhibitions Department, or in Paris, as Director of the Fonds d’art contemporain and then of the Musée Zadkine; in national cultural establishments, as Director of Cultural and Museum Development at the Bibliothèque nationale de France, then Deputy director of the Musée national d’Art Moderne-CCI.
She has also been curator or artistic director of numerous exhibitions and events, including Victor Brauner (Musée d’art moderne de Paris, 2020), Nuit Blanche 2020, L’âme primitive (Musée Zadkine, 2021), Le Prix Marcel Duchamp 2024 (Centre Georges Pompidou), and Apocalypse (Bibliothèque nationale de France, 2025). She is currently preparing a retrospective of Marcel Duchamp’s work for the Centre Pompidou, in conjunction with New York’s MoMA and the Philadelphia Museum. Since 2023, she has been Deputy Director and Director of Collections at the Musée national d’art moderne – Centre Georges Pompidou.
