Since our founding in 1999, FRAME, has grown to 32 member museums from the original 18. The FRAME network has produced 21 major exhibitions that have traveled to 31 cities in France, Canada and the United States, attracting more than 2.5 million visitors. Through the Annenberg FRAME Education Initiative, teams from member museums have created innovative and lasting education collaborations. FRAME has published ten major exhibition catalogs – three in English and French, As we look ahead, exciting new projects are underway.
FRAME maintains offices in the United States and France, and is funded by its member museums, foundations, government agencies, and individuals.

Additional funding in France comes from the municipalities in which FRAME museums are located. FRAME also receives financial and logistic support from France’s Ministry of Culture and Communication, particularly for exhibitions designated by the “Exposition d’intérêt national” label.
