The FRench American Museum Exchange (FRAME) is pleased to announce the selection of the Minneapolis Institute of Art and the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Rennes as its Fall 2024 grant recipients.
FRAME supports programs at member museums in North America and France with the goal of serving its mission to promote cultural exchange in the context of museum collaborations.
This cycle, FRAME will lend its support to the grant recipients for the following areas of study:
- Minneapolis Institute of Art (Mia): Professional exchanges and research travel for an exhibition of contemporary American and French art ($10,000)
- Musée des Beaux-Arts Rennes: The organization and operation of study days and professional exchange on the topic of universal accessibility in museums, and in support of the touring tactile gallery Please Do Touch! ($20,000)
Award winners were chosen by the board of directors at the October meeting after careful consideration of applications submitted in the Fall of 2024 and follow FRAME’s earlier selection of two grant awards from the Spring 2024 cycle (Musée des Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux and Musée d’Arts de Nantes).
