FRAME held its recent annual conference at The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, a member of the network since 2015. More than 80 colleagues from France and North America participated in the conference to share professional experiences and inspiring new approaches to reinterpreting their collections with diversified narratives that reflect different communities and cultures.
The conference also featured Jean-Luc Martinez, Ambassador for International Heritage Cooperation and Honorary President-Director of the Louvre, who gave a keynote address on the restitution of cultural properties from the French perspective.
The event was capped by a unanimous vote approving FRAME’s strategic plan for the next five years, making the 2023 conference a milestone in the history of the network!
