The Clark Art Institute, the Palais des Beaux-Arts de Lille, the musée Fabre in Montpellier and the musées de Strasbourg are part of this four-year pilot project established in 2013 to address violence (from bullying to terrorism) with a goal of prevention.
- The Clark partners with MASS MoCA and Williams College Museum of Art, and has created a program that utilizes art as a vehicle to expand awareness of human relationships, perspectives, choices, and, in particular, our capacity for acting with both cruelty and compassion.
- Students in Lille worked with a theater company and a photographer to portray the situations represented in the collection’s works.
- In Strasbourg students made a zine echoing the collections and the questions raised throughout the year.
- In Montpellier students created posters referencing the program and posted them at their schools.
