The Musée des Beaux-Arts de Rennes, the Centre de la Vieille Charité-Musées de Marseille, the Musée d’arts de Nantes and the Musée Fabre de Montpellier, four French FRAME Museums have organized three exhibitions that together celebrate an “American Season in France.” In conjunction with the exhibitions, FRAME in partnership with the Institut nationale d’histoire de l’Art (INHA) in Paris, hosted a virtual symposium about Expanding and Redirecting Historical Research Related to Franco-American Artistic Relationships between 1918 and 1964 on Friday, May 21st.
