From October 14-16, a delegation of FRAME members from across France, the United States, and Canada will gather in Lyon for FRAME\u2019s 2026 Annual Conference. In partnership with its member museums and hosts for the conference, the Museum of Fine Arts of Lyon and macLyon, FRAME has chosen to align this year’s conference theme with the context of the Lyon Contemporary Art Biennial, which will take place concurrently. Through a series of dedicated workshops and a keynote panel featuring prestigious figures from the art world, the 2026 conference will focus on the theme of \u201cThe Social Engagement of Museums and their Audiences through Contemporary Creation<\/a>\u201d.<\/p>\n

FRAME Co-Presidents William B.<\/strong> Beekman<\/strong> and Christelle Creff<\/strong> extend their gratitude to Sylvie Ramond<\/strong>, General Director of the MBA I MAC Museums Pole, Lyon, and Director of the Museum of Fine Arts of Lyon, for her enthusiastic invitation, as well as to Isabelle Bertolotti<\/strong>, Director of the MAC Lyon, and to Aur\u00e9lie Voltz<\/strong>, Director of the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Saint-\u00c9tienne, who will welcome the delegation to the FRAME exhibition Flying Colors: Dialogue with the collections of the Minneapolis Institute of Art<\/em><\/a>, which is taking place simultaneously in Saint-\u00c9tienne.<\/p>\n

FRAME\u2019s keynote panel, which will take place on October 15 at 3pm CET\/9am EST, is accessible on invitation only. It will be livestreamed, will explore key social issues and their impact on the museum community through the lens of artists and art world professionals.
