During the conference\u2019s general assembly, FRAME members voted to induct two new North American museums: the <strong>Detroit Institute of the Arts<\/strong> and the <strong>National Gallery of Canada, Ottawa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>William Beekman and Christelle Creff, Co-Presidents of FRAME, saluted these nominations, stating: \u201cWe are delighted to welcome Detroit back into the FRAME network and expand our presence in Canada with the addition of the National Gallery of Canada, Ottawa. These museums\u2019 impressive collections and alignment with FRAME\u2019s mission will help strengthen our presence in North America and open up exciting opportunities for collaboration across the FRAME network.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>FRAME\u2019s Annual Conference offers an opportunity for museum directors and professionals from across France and North America to come together to share experiences and best practices and identify opportunities for collaboration. This year\u2019s conference focused on the subject \u201cBroadening access to culture and opening museums to new audiences\u201d, featuring keynote addresses by <strong>Kate D. Levin<\/strong>, Principal, Bloomberg Associates in Cultural Assets Management, and leader of Bloomberg Philanthropies Arts Program, and <strong>Jeanne Brun<\/strong>, Deputy Director and Director of Collections at the Mus\u00e9e national d\u2019art moderne \u2013 Centre Georges Pompidou.<\/p>\n<p>Participants also had the opportunity to explore highlights of Denver\u2019s vibrant artistic and cultural landscape, including private tours of <strong>The Cookie Factory<\/strong> with Founder and Executive Director Amanda J. Precourt, Co-Founder and Director of Exhibitions Andrew Jensdotter, and Artistic Director J\u00e9r\u00f4me Sans; the <strong>Clyfford Still Museum<\/strong> with Director Joyce Tsai; and <strong>Cherokee Ranch &amp; Castle<\/strong> with Executive Director James A. Holmes; as well as a guided visit of the <strong>Museum of Contemporary Art Denver<\/strong> with Ellen Bruss Senior Curator Miranda Lash.<\/p>\n<p>FRAME would like to acknowledge the invaluable support of <strong>Christoph Heinrich<\/strong>, Frederick and Jan Mayer Director of the Denver Art Museum, and his team, as well as <strong>Joy Dinsdale<\/strong>, Trustee of the Denver Art Museum, who are both Board members of FRAME, for their generous support and warm welcome in organizing this year\u2019s event.<\/p>\n<p>The next FRAME Annual Conference will take place in Lyon in Fall 2026.
