Ndiaye is also interested in minority situations in France, especially the history and sociology of&#8217; black populations. Professor of history at Sciences Po, Ndiaye holds a doctorate in history from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS); he is also a graduate of the University of Virginia, where he received his masters. In the US, he taught at the University of Pennsylvania, New York University, and Northwestern University.<\/p>\n<p>His publications include <em>Nylon and Bombs<\/em> (2007, Johns Hopkins University Press),\u00a0 <em>La condition noire. Essai sur une minorit\u00e9 fran\u00e7aise<\/em> [<em>The Black Condition: An Essay on a French Minority<\/em>] (2008), and <em>Les Noirs am\u00e9ricains. En marche pour l&#8217;\u00e9galit\u00e9<\/em> [<em>Black Americans: Running for Equality<\/em>] (2009). He also co-edited the exhibition catalogue <em>Le Mod\u00e8le noir<\/em> [<em>The Black Model<\/em>] (2019). His latest book, <em>Black Americans from Slavery to Black Lives Matter<\/em>, was published in October 2021.
