On Thursday, May 20 at 11:00 AM Eastern Time,\u00a0<\/strong>FRAME-network museum educators from Dallas, Lille, and Montreal will share the result of their multi-year collaboration which led to the publication of FRAMEwork: A Guide for Welcoming Museum Visitors with Autism Spectrum Disorder.<\/em> The webinar is free and open to all directors, curators and educators in the FRAME network but pre-registration is required. Registration opens May 5.<\/p>\n

Presenters will discuss the rationale and processes for designing programs for visitors with autism and will outline practical considerations. They will also share how working together on this FRAMEwork guide helped identify commonalities in programs and approaches, defining best practices for autism programs in museums. Attendees will leave with practical knowledge about creating autism-friendly initiatives at their institution, no matter their staff size, budget, or current stage of accessibility.<\/p>\n
