The strategic plan was unanimously adopted by FRAME membership on October 5, 2023.<\/p><blockquote><p>\u201cThe resulting strategic plan reflects the comradery and collegiality that our organization is based on, with parity at every juncture. It will reinvigorate our network with an exciting roadmap for the next five years as we expand FRAME\u2019s programs and membership to provide new opportunities for collaborations.\u201d<br \/>William Beekman and Christelle Creff, Co-Presidents of FRAME<\/p><\/blockquote><p>The Plan provides opportunities to cultivate and emphasize dialogue between members to answer topical challenges in the museum field. It expands existing activities that focus on generating traveling exhibitions that draw on the collections of member museums as well as education and public programs that address the needs and interests of our audiences.<\/p><h3>New Programs<\/h3><p>FRAME\u2019s strategy to strengthen transatlantic interdisciplinary exchanges nurtures curatorial and educational areas of expertise through new programs and initiatives. Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, Inclusion (DEAI) is integrated throughout, including museum social responsibility and environmental sustainability.<\/p><ol><li><strong>The FRAME Research Program<\/strong> expands scholarship by increasing knowledge, learning and skills through collective exchanges that benefit museum professionals and the public.<\/li><li><strong>The FRAME Long-term Loans Program<\/strong> enhances exhibitions among FRAME member museums to fill gaps in permanent exhibitions or give visibility to hidden collections.<\/li><li><strong>The FRAME Travel Program<\/strong> encourages transatlantic exchanges with FRAME member museums to foster research and\/or professional development for FRAME museums staff at all levels across functions.<\/li><\/ol><h3>Sharing and Spreading Our Best Initiatives with and beyond the Network<\/h3><p>FRAME aims to expand the reach of its initiatives through enhanced communication and an ambitious partnership strategy with institutions such as Villa Albertine and Sorbonne-Nouvelle, among others. The FRAME network is committed to sharing its program results with its members and beyond using FRAMEworks \u2013 an extensive, open and diverse set of deliverables that encompasses shared models of best practices, such as on provenance research.<\/p><h3>Membership Expansion<\/h3><p>As part of its strategic plan, FRAME will incrementally expand its membership through 2028 to deepen and reinvigorate the network with a broader international reach. This esprit de corps is crucial to strengthening French and North American museum cooperation at a time when their field of action is becoming increasingly globalized with joint issues.<\/p><p>In 2024, FRAME welcomed the \u00c9tablissement public des Mus\u00e9es d\u2019Orsay et de l\u2019Orangerie as its newest member.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After 10 months of diligent work, FRAME\u2019s Board approved a new Mission and Vision statement along with initiatives that both reflect our organization\u2019s history and anticipate a future that embraces change and growth.
